How To Log into your MPS assigned Chromebook:
When you first open your Chromebook, the system requests that you enter your email address. The last portion of your email address (@milwaukee.k12.wi.us) has already been entered for you. For this reason, you only need to enter the letter “s” followed by your student number, for example, s8765432 and choose Next.
When the system prompts you to enter your password, you are really being asked to enter your birthdate. In other words, your password is your birthdate. When entering your birthdate, remember to enter the slashes also. Specifically, you must enter your 2-digit month, 2-digit day, and 2-digit year. For example, if your birthdate is February 14, 2002, you must enter your password as 02/14/02 and choose Next.
How To Log into Google Classroom:
After you have successfully logged into your Chromebook, you will notice that you are in Google Chrome. Within the search bar, type, “classroom.google.com” and press Enter on your keyboard. You should now be able to see the courses that you are enrolled in. If you do not see a course that you are enrolled in, you must Join the course by entering the course code.
How To Login using a device other than a Chromebook
Using your device, open Google Chrome. Locate the account manager logo in the upper right-hand section of your window. The logo should appear with a letter or a picture if you assigned one. Click the logo and select “Add” to add an account. When prompted to enter an email address, you want to type in your MPS assigned address. Type in the letter “s” followed by your student I.D. number@student.milwaukee.k12.wi.us. For example:
s8765432@student.milwaukee.k12.wi.us and choose Next.
